Playa de los Callicantos offers activities such as fishing, sailing, swimming, and bathing. During the peak season, there are toilets and showers available for visitors' convenience.
Due to the drought, all facilities are closed, including restrooms and cafes. The river is low and has many weeds, making it less attractive for swimming. There were only a few people around, and we decided to leave after lunch instead of staying overnight.
The location is great for large motorhomes. We arrived in the evening, and it was surprisingly calm for July, with only a few walkers around. The water is nice for swimming, and traffic on the bridge is not too noisy. Overall, it's a wonderful place!
