The former Takomäki stone quarry has been transformed into a water-filled area. There is a gravel road that surrounds the site, offering convenient van parking options. It is a well-liked swimming spot for local young people, which means it can get busy and noisy, particularly on summer evenings and weekends. Additionally, there is a wooden shelter and a shed with firewood near a slightly larger parking area.

Enjoyed the location, despite someone occupying the designated spot. Managed to find another spot with a view of the quarry after some driving around. Had a peaceful stay, with no one else around. The quarry had a convenient entry point for swimming. Minimal noise from passing vehicles on the nearby road.
