This is a wonderful spot for a short stay with a stunning view. Don't miss out on visiting the shipyard and village, they are definitely worth seeing. And the harbor master is a delightful character you can meet without any additional cost. Just a tip, when you reach Deichreihe 28, make a right turn towards Sporboothafen.
I have never felt more welcome in my 42 years of motorhome travel than in Wewelsfleth! Klaus the harbor master deserves more than just 5 stars - he should receive at least 10. Experiences like this, centered around parking spaces, make motorhome travel so unique! In addition to great (and affordable!) restaurants in town, it's also a great starting point for bike tours. This is a great place to park! It officially has 3 spots, but if you don't mind giving up your own front yard, at least 4 can fit. There is fresh water available at the bridge to the pontoon. It is very quiet and peaceful here. There is a barbecue area, but it seems more like it's for private use.
