South Cape Camping

I stayed at this campsite for 5 nights in my camper van. The bathrooms were dirty and the pool water seemed questionable, especially the unclean footbath. There was a lack of hygiene overall, with the barbecue area trash not being emptied for 4 days. The tables in the bar were sticky, and the ashtrays were not emptied. I would advise avoiding the pool toilets as they were dirty and had a strong odor of urine. Additionally, there were no facilities available for emptying or refilling camper vans. These services were only provided at the designated camper van area, for which an additional fee was required.

We paid €38 per night for a campervan, with 2 people and 2 dogs, including electricity. It was a fair price for what we received. However, we did not have a quiet stay, likely due to bad luck. Our pitch was right in a high traffic area with noise from shouting past 11pm, sprinklers from the nearby football field splashing onto our pitch, and morning construction noise. On the positive side, the staff was welcoming and the bathrooms were clean.
