Camping Schutzwiese is situated along the Sûre, a popular cycling and hiking trail. The campsite offers a range of services and is conveniently located near the train station, providing easy access to Luxembourg City and Trier. The manager primarily speaks German, but communication is possible with goodwill. The campsite has 125 places, with 80 equipped with sockets for camping and 9, including 6 with sockets, for motorhomes. Access to the campsite is through an arch with a height limit of 3.50 m and width limit of 2.50 m.
Very friendly owners, nice sanitary block. Arrived in the evening, reception closed but there is a paper with available parking spaces, pay at the reception the next morning. Beautiful spots by the water. Some comments mention noise, but we did not hear any. A campground worth remembering.
Beautifully located campground with very clean bathroom facilities, we will visit again.
