Located near the old monastery in Thale, there is a newly established campsite that is conveniently situated in the town center. It serves as a great starting point for various activities. The operator is friendly and helpful. Please note that only campers with water supply, disposal, and their own toilet are permitted. Payment can be easily done through a machine. Highly recommended.
Centrally located but very peaceful at night, this parking lot has a self-check-in machine that is easy to use. It is well-maintained and has very clean toilets, with complete waste disposal available. The pitches are on gravel and are spacious enough for one to two nights. Please note that the payment card for electricity usage needs to be inserted multiple times as it is counted per 1 euro. Overall, highly recommended.
Attention, Bulli drivers! Unfortunately, we were denied entry despite the presence of designated restrooms, as our Bulli does not have its own onboard toilet. The suggestion to use the facilities at the site was harshly rejected - only fully self-contained vehicles with their own waste disposal systems are allowed, regardless of the availability of restrooms. It's a pity, as we would have liked to stay there!
