Ampersee Campsite offers a pleasant stay near a peaceful pond, although it is situated close to a highway. The campsite provides grassy pitches with ample shade from trees. Guests can enjoy hot water showers available for a fee. Conveniently, the campsite is only 4 km away from a train station, offering easy access to Munich.
The reception was decent but nothing special after that. Free access to the water area. It is possible to order pastries for the next morning. We may have arrived during the wrong season as it was infested with mosquitoes. Hot water for showers costs 0.50 € and dishwashing costs 0.10 €. It was pricey for a 2-night stay with 2 adults, 2 children, and electricity, totaling a little over 60 €. The restaurant was welcoming.
