This free camping area is an official site that offers picnic benches and firepits, located right by the river. The main road on the other side is not easily visible due to the trees, and the noise from the road is minimal thanks to the sound of the river. It is important to note that this area is not suitable for large vehicles, as the last 500 meters of the road are bumpy and narrow. However, I managed to navigate the road with my van, which measures 5.5 meters long, 2.5 meters high, and 2 meters wide.

This spot is ideal in dry weather conditions. It is suitable for vehicles with high road clearance, like our Moho which had the right dimensions (L6.85 W2.35 H2.84). However, it is not recommended for new or low-slung vehicles. The area has a short grassy slope, so it is best to avoid it when it's wet. To access this spot, turn into a large lay-by and take a smaller road marked with signs. Be cautious, as the road soon turns into a gravel and bumpy track with trees hanging over it. There is another road off the lay-by where you can park, but it can get dirty and smelly at the end.

When train operations are stopped at around 10 pm, one can sleep peacefully. The place is relatively clean. The journey felt a bit adventurous but was manageable with a Renault Kangoo. There is a trash can right by the site. We parked on the upper level since it was too wet to park down below.
