The forest retreat is truly excellent. Don't forget to bring food to enjoy at one of the beautiful shelters. The one at the end of the wooden walkways on the red trail is perfect. On May 21st, there were a lot of mosquitoes at night.

There is a convenient parking area located in the heart of the forest, equipped with picnic tables and dry toilets. This serves as the starting point for exploring the beautiful Segerstads nature reserve.

Great location near Lake Vänern, in the heart of the forest. Very peaceful and pleasant. Picnic table, barbecue, and portable toilets available at the parking lot and along the hiking trails. We highly recommend it.
