This campsite is located on the picturesque Barleber See and has its own beach. It offers easy access to the surrounding region and the nearby Elbe River, with plenty of opportunities for sports activities and exciting excursions.
Located near the A2 exit, this campsite is a convenient spot for a short stay on the East-West Europe route. Despite the proximity to an industrial zone, don't let it discourage you. During peak season, the campsite can be a bit crowded, but the toilets, showers, and swimming in a pristine lake compensate for it. It's worth noting that communicating in German is more effective than in English at reception.
We paid 25€ for one night, for two people and a dog, staying in a T5. The fenced dog area is too small and it's questionable whether it's safe for all the dogs to roam freely in the small camping area with 10 campers. The toilets were decent. The staff was okay, but not particularly friendly. The location near the lake is nice, but we wouldn't choose to stay here again.
