Hoek van Holland is a popular seaside destination near Rotterdam. It offers wide beaches, delicious food, boat-watching on the Nieuwe Waterweg, and beautiful nature walks. There are camping options available, including a cozy family campsite and a resort with 900 holiday homes. Please note that on air days, only daytime access is allowed to air out holiday homes or mobile homes. Overnight stays are not permitted. The reception is open from March 1 to October 31, seven days a week.
Friendly reception. Spacious parking spots. Outdated sanitary facilities. We paid €26 for the first night and €44 for the second night, possibly due to the holiday season in the Netherlands. Short walk to the beach, even without a bicycle. The on-site store closes at 6pm, but there are other shopping options in town accessible by bicycle. Several interesting bunkers nearby.
Unfriendly welcome if you bring your dog. There is no indication that they are not welcome.
