This park is a great choice for an overnight stay. I parked in a smaller secluded space on the right side, which provided more privacy. Despite being close to the road, it was very peaceful with only a few cars passing by at night. It's a lovely spot to listen to birdsong and stargaze. The Clatteringshaw Visitor Centre is nearby, and it's only a 15-20 minute drive to Newton Stewart or St. Johns for shopping and fuel.
