I didn't enjoy the entrance area of the other spot nearby, and the dump across the street left me with a lackluster feeling. However, since I was running late and there weren't many options in this part of Turkey, I decided to try the longer entrance road that leads to the northern tip of the same reservoir. It turned out to be quite pleasant, with the presence of frogs and birds and various available spaces. A few locals also use this area. The amount of litter was minimal, and there was good 4G coverage. There was a ground water pump, which might be drinkable, but it tasted a bit dull, and considering the agricultural activities around, I didn't want to fill my tank with it. The road itself was a well-maintained dirt track with very few potholes. However, I could imagine that the steeper sections could be challenging to drive on with a 2WD vehicle during heavy rain.
