This is a private area located at the entrance portal to Fragas do Eume natural park. It is a peaceful location with no available facilities. However, you can request authorization to enter the nearby Fragas do Eume hotel or Casa Peizas restaurant. Both are within a hundred meters and offer local cuisine and a bar. The natural park offers various excursions with a river and beautiful deciduous forests. There is also a nearby place called Forgoselo which is great for mushroom picking. Additionally, there is a well-equipped sports climbing school less than five minutes away, offering a variety of grades for climbers. The climbing area is closed with a chain, so you need to call the hotel reception to gain access.
We traveled with a Peugeot Partner and were given the option to either use the hotel's parking area or the AC zone. We chose the latter and were able to access the hotel facilities, such as a pergola in the garden with tables for dinner and breakfast, and the café where we could get some beers. The owner was lovely, and there was also a tourist information booth nearby. The Fragas were absolutely breathtaking.
We stayed for one night at a spacious and peaceful location, although the services were currently unavailable. The owner was extremely friendly and attentive.
