Located in Moguer, Spain, Camping Playa de Mazagon offers sandy pitches with sea views. While the campsite is large and situated on a cliff overlooking the beach and the entrance to the port of Huelva, some might find it a bit expensive for the level of service provided. During the off-season, it is possible to park on the access roads, although the sandy terrain could pose challenges during rainfall.
This destination is more suitable for summer visits rather than in winter. The facilities appear outdated and it is evident that there has been a lack of recent investment. During winter, some of the toilets may be partially closed and there may be a shortage of toilet paper. On a positive note, the staff at the reception are friendly and helpful.
The presence of very loud guests disrupted our peace and quiet. The nightclub's noise could be heard from outside the campground early in the afternoon. We decided to continue our journey elsewhere.
