This campsite is conveniently located near the main road, but noise from traffic is minimal. The campsite features a pleasant combination of gravel, meadow, and trees, all neatly arranged. Visitors can also enjoy a restaurant located nearby. In Horezu, there is a charming street filled with numerous ceramic shops, showcasing traditional Romanian crafts.
There is a campground situated on a lawn behind a restaurant along the main road. They offer small wooden cabins for rent. It is an adequate place to stay for one night, and it only costs 4 Euros per night. There are some stray dogs that peacefully wander around the campground, which could potentially be a concern for those who are afraid of dogs or have a timid or aggressive dog of their own.
We visited a campground to access water facilities and paid 35 lei for a night's stay. However, due to the wet condition of the ground and the strong smell of trash at the only usable spot, we decided not to sleep there. The campground had no amenities or showers. Instead, we found a monastery where we could sleep comfortably. The monastery was well-maintained, had a flat surface, and water available.
