Balta Roșie is a beautiful destination for those seeking peace and relaxation. Located at the base of the Retezat Mountains, you can enjoy the stunning views of nature. Our cottage offers a comfortable bed for two, with clean linens and furniture. The cottage is powered by a 12V photovoltaic panel, providing lighting and a USB socket. Bathroom facilities with hot water are available in the yard, powered by solar panels. With a 5000sqm land, there is ample space for tents and caravans. We have one cottage available for accommodation and can accommodate up to ten people in tents or caravans. Prices are 100 RON per night for the cottage and 30 RON per night per person for tents or caravans.
This is a lovely and peaceful place with a very friendly operator who speaks English well. It has everything one would need including a kitchen with cooking facilities, a clean toilet and solar shower, a firepit with firewood, hammocks for relaxing, a fishing pond, and even fishing equipment.
This place is very pleasant, especially because we had it all to ourselves for two nights (with more nights to come). It is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and our dog can freely explore and sniff around.
