This mansion is situated in a convenient location on the Vanajavesi shore, only 4 km away from the center of Hämeenlinna. It offers a variety of amenities, including electricity (6A) and free wifi. The lakeside spots are slightly more expensive (16A).
We were here during the winter season and it is possible to book online (on a Finnish website with a Finnish account) and then have the desired spot cleared of snow. Despite large snow piles, it was easy to maneuver a 6.40m motorhome. The view is stunning, and the toilet and shower facilities were clean and provided shampoo. The laundry room was equipped with detergent as well. The sauna and café were closed, perhaps reservations can be made in advance.
This camping site offers a comfortable and convenient stay with essential facilities. Guests can enjoy playing frisbee golf and access a shared sauna by the lake during the summer. There is also an option to rent a private sauna for personal use. The premises are well-maintained and the staff is friendly.
