The area can get noisy due to the presence of a tram. There is occasional traffic from cars passing by. In the morning, there are mostly pedestrians. However, it is not suitable for camping.

There is a parking area available at the forest entrance. There are multiple trails for hiking. Parking is free between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. During the rest of the day, visitors are allowed to park for a maximum of three hours.

This accommodation is a good option for those visiting Zurich, with a nearby parking area situated next to a large forest. However, there may be some noise from the adjacent road and railway. Many dog owners visit to walk their dogs or enjoy a stroll, parking their cars here. Free parking is available from 18:00 to 08:00, with an additional three hours allowed thereafter. A peaceful night's sleep can be expected otherwise.
