This temporary camping site is situated right by the canal and offers convenient access to a supermarket and restaurants. It is also a great starting point for exploring the cycling routes. Although it is peaceful at night, there is some daytime activity from the bridge and passing boats. A recommended cycling path is the 'Bels Lijntje' that connects Turnhout to Tilburg via Baarle Hertog.
Enjoy the sight of the bridge opening for barges on the canal. The area doesn't offer any facilities. Take a closer look as the yellow lines on the road are fading. We had a peaceful night and there were two other camping vehicles with us. There is capacity to park up to four vehicles.
This place is worth mentioning! The spots are big and flat. The only downside is the noise. It's perfect for a stopover!
