Experience a convenient camping option just a short distance from the Launceston CBD, making it the perfect base for your adventures in North Tasmania. No need to book in advance - simply turn left upon entering the property and you'll find the camping sites. There are plenty of spots available behind the lakes, so feel free to choose any unoccupied spot. Our staff will catch up with you later in the afternoon to assist you. Please note that the camping sites are not powered, but we do provide toilets and drinking water for your convenience. You'll find taps located around the camping ground that can be used to fill water tanks in your camping vehicles. We kindly request a $2.00 fee per fill, and honesty boxes are provided at each tap for your payment. Please refrain from connecting to the water taps permanently. Additionally, generators can be operated between 9am and 4pm, ensuring consideration for other guests. To maintain the functionality of our biocycle sewerage system, we ask that you do not dispose of any chemical waste down the drains. Instead, there is a dump point available at the nearby St Leonards Picnic Grounds, which is only 1.5 kilometers away. We understand that pets are important companions, so we welcome them on our premises. However, please ensure that your pets are kept on a leash at all times. It is also the responsibility of the owners to promptly and appropriately clean up and dispose of any animal waste. Our camping ground is accessible to RVs, camper trailers, caravans, and large vehicles, making it suitable for all types of camping setups. Please note that only camping in tents is not permitted. Lastly, please be aware that our camping facility closes seasonally during winter.
