The weather in the valley can be very windy, which makes for challenging sleeping conditions in a van. Despite that, the views are beautiful.

This lay by is located on a peaceful country road and is often used by walkers for parking during the day. It does not provide any facilities, but offers stunning views. However, it can be quite exposed during inclement weather. While I personally haven't stayed here, I would consider it if it were not so close to my location.
