Tana Hotel and Camping is a convenient accommodation option situated on the Tana River bridge. They provide 26 parking spaces for motorhomes and caravans, as well as 16 cabins. The facilities are kept clean and well-maintained. The cost for a motorhome, including two adults, is 280 NOK, and an additional shower is available for 20 NOK.
The hotel reception provided a warm welcome upon arrival. The bathrooms were well-heated, and one of the two showers was available for campers to use at no additional cost. There was a toilet cassette disposal machine located on the picnic area across the bridge, which could be used free of charge.
We used it like a motel, arriving quite late in the evening and were warmly greeted at the reception. We also had something to eat in the restaurant, which was very tasty. The location is quiet behind the hotel, the bathrooms are clean and showers are free. It was a perfect place for a stopover, and we have no regrets.
