Bautzen Parking Dam offers convenient, direct access to the water by foot. While it may not have a sandy beach, it is a peaceful area. Additionally, there is a picnic area next to the parking lot for visitors to enjoy.

It is a great and peaceful place, located very close to a lake. We spent two nights there, alongside two other campers. In the evening, the only sound you can hear is the croaking of frogs. In the morning, you can expect cyclists and people walking their dogs. There is a public gazebo with a trash bin near the parking area. The only downside of this place is the relentless mosquito bites.
