Frenes Campsite is a small, peaceful place that offers a family-friendly environment. It’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of nature.
There are several camping spots that are flat and shaded. The road is moderately busy at night. A nice inn serves good food after hiking. It is run by a friendly family. We returned for a second night after visiting Pic du Midi, which is a 15-minute drive away.
Good value for money at 9.4€ for two adults and a camper. The campsite has spacious areas and is quiet despite its proximity to the road. The bathrooms and showers are clean but a bit old. The owners are friendly, and if they are not at the campsite, visit the nearby hotel/restaurant.
