Stay overnight in the official parking lot of Burgers' Zoo by visiting the zoo between 09:00 and 17:00/18:00. Report to the cashier to purchase an entry ticket for €26.50 and a special parking ticket for €8.00. Provide your contact information. The parking area is located under tall pine trees at the rear of the large car park. No facilities are available, and the maximum stay is one night. There are only 10 spots for campers. Please note that dogs and other pets are not allowed in the zoo or left alone in the camper during the day. These rates are valid until March 31, 2024.
This place is a beautiful spot. In the middle of September, there were no other people around the trees. It takes 25 minutes by bike to get to the city. You can come and go throughout the day and night. The cost for one night is 7.5 €, and you can pay at the counter.
The parking area had only parking spaces and rubbish bins, but if you are self-sufficient, it is all you need. We arrived after the zoo was closed, but the entrance barrier opened to let us in. The exit barrier was open all night, and still open at 8:45 am when we left, so we didn't need a ticket. However, we were willing to wait until 9 am for the cash office to open if necessary. We would gladly pay €8 to stay there again.
