Belle Dune camping site claims to have 5-star rating, but it's more like a 3-star. Bread is available in July and August, but you need to order a day in advance. The limited facilities provided are overpriced. The indoor pool and jacuzzi are often not maintained at optimal temperatures. The manager lacks customer service skills. There are cheaper and more enjoyable camping options nearby, just 100m or 300m away.
I gave one star for the pool, but the rest is just a money-making scheme. It cost 111 euros for a camping car spot, a tent for 4 people. An additional 10€ per day for a dog, and the camping spot was not even flat. There is no grocery store, you have to go 2 km to town. Showers are limited to 15 minutes, and there are not enough clean toilets. We will not be returning.
Closed in November... too bad. There will be a popular event at the end of November called "la beach plage" where people come together for beach biking. It makes you wonder if the merchants want to work. Although they had their season, there is more than just spring and summer. Especially with the pandemic, they may have experienced a decrease in business that they could make up for.
