At the end of the parking lot of this abandoned shooting range, you can take a path (about a 300-meter walk if you don't trust your vehicle). Park on a flat surface with wedges in a hairpin turn on a ski slope. There are 2 or 3 possible parking spots. The starting point for several hiking trails. It is calm, and you can enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains at sunrise. If this location doesn't suit you, continue on the main road that goes up to a pass (about 20 km), where you will find many parking spots along the way, including at the pass itself (2500 meters above sea level), where many horses roam free... I and my colleagues parked there without any disturbances. These spots are only suitable when there is no snow, of course! Please respect nature!

The parking area where we spent the night isn't particularly attractive, as it's located near a shooting range. However, it is very peaceful and not heavily trafficked. Additionally, it is conveniently close to the Menairons Forest, where we planned to go hiking the next day. There are several trails in the area, making it highly recommended.
