Camping Grohnder Fährhaus is a campsite situated along the Weser River. It offers convenient accommodation and also features an on-site restaurant for guests to enjoy.
The sanitary facilities are excellent, with a beautiful view of the Weser river. The pitch is spacious and all necessary amenities are available. The service at the restaurant is friendly and attentive. The only small downside is that the Weser cycling path passes through the site, but it is not a major issue. Overall, it was a great experience and I would gladly stay there again.
We were here at the end of June. We had a camper van spot on the grass by the river Weser. The bathroom facilities are new and they are also taking care of the COVID-19 situation. It takes about 1 hour by bike to get to the city center of Hameln (Weser cycle path). You can book a spot by email, but there is a booking fee of 4 euros per day, which is not deducted from the spot cost. We didn't eat at the ferry house, but the terrace by the river was always busy. We would love to come back.
