Secure and convenient parking available in the area. Overnight parking is allowed, although some noise may be present. It is located within a 20-minute walk from downtown, making it an ideal option for daytime parking.
A welcoming city like Santiago should have better infrastructure for motorhomes, rather than just a car park. It can get noisy due to the mixture of buses and motorhomes, as there is heavy traffic nearby. Additionally, it is uncomfortable and expensive. On the positive side, the area is safe, with cozy cafes and a few shops.
The municipality has recognized the potential of attracting camper vans. However, I personally declined due to the limited amenities and location. Instead, I chose to park at the university campus, which offers shade and is away from residential areas.
