There is a peaceful area outside of the parking lot where you can find some shade on hot days. To find it, look for a path on the right just past the curve.
The place is beautiful, but the access seems to be just a trail. We didn't feel comfortable entering and potentially damaging it. However, a little further ahead, there is a wonderful picnic area where you will surely find what you're looking for.
This cute forest is perfect for hot weather. The road to access it is beautiful. We saw a herd of horses and a few sheep passing by.
