Off road

Planina Vogar, 4265, Bohinj, Slovenia
€20.00

The road to the park starts as asphalt but then turns into a gravel path. It is easy to reach and there is a 10 euro fee. The park is very peaceful even in busy times like August, and we were able to sleep undisturbed. It is a great starting point for numerous hiking trails.

There is a peaceful and slightly damp place that serves as a starting point for a hiking trail to the Kazgledna Tocka refuge and viewpoint, which is absolutely beautiful. There are around ten spots available. The asphalt road leading there is narrow and may not be suitable for larger campers, but vans should be fine. There is a fee of 20€ to be paid upon exiting the Triglav National Park. We were very satisfied with our night spent surrounded by nature!

Vogar Parking. Accessible via a narrow and steep toll road (€10), which is suitable for vans. It is very quiet at night, but it is important not to camp outside the parking area as it is monitored by the Triglav National Park guards.
