We arrived at the location around 4pm on a bustling Sunday in June. The staff were welcoming and did not mind us staying. We enjoyed a delicious meal. We were the only vehicle that stopped for the night. While the car park may not offer picturesque views, it was peaceful and conveniently located near a pleasant canal walk.
We visited the bank holiday Monday evening, around 6 o'clock, and were warmly welcomed as soon as we entered. We inquired about staying overnight in our campervan, and were given a definite yes. The beer selection was good, and I personally enjoyed the JW Lees bitter, which I would recommend. We chose to sit outside and enjoyed the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally kind and friendly. We plan to return in the future to try the food.
