There is a flat surface located at a high altitude of over 1,600 meters under a wind turbine. The area provides good 4G reception with the Greek mobile operator Cosmote. Access to the site is possible via a steep and winding gravel road, designed for large vehicles. This location offers a cool retreat from the summer heat, with temperatures around 25 degrees and clear skies. During the day, you can enjoy views of Tripoli, Nafplio, and the Gulf of Argos, while at night, you can stargaze and admire the Milky Way and Scorpio constellation. Apart from some goats, shepherd dogs, and occasional shepherds, the area is usually deserted.
Be careful if you visit this beautiful, isolated area. The road is uneven and rocky, with no safety barriers. A long wheelbase vehicle may struggle. It's best to use a 4X4 and ensure you are a skilled driver. Watch for brake overheating when going downhill.
