Experience tranquility in a serene location within a historic quarry. Marvel at the breathtaking view, while enjoying uninterrupted solitude away from the hustle and bustle of passing traffic. The area is reasonably clean and offers ample space for your comfort.
Quiet location with easy access, only a few low branches in the entrance to the quarry. Our vehicle, which was 2.70 meters tall, had no issues. The view is excellent. We stayed here for just one night and would have liked to stay longer, but had to leave due to snowfall. Great starting point for hiking.
There are many great areas to choose from in this large location. One option is an abandoned quarry with an old structure. You can explore and enjoy beautiful mountain views. The ground is nice and level. However, be mindful of some trash in certain areas, including shotgun shells and broken glass. On the positive side, there are two water taps down the hill, about a 7-minute walk away, which provide strong and fast-flowing water. The 4G internet connection can be intermittent, and occasionally, other people visit the area.
