In August, there is a large parking area in front of the shelter. It fills up quickly during the day but is great for overnight parking. It is located near the Sarca River, and many trails start from this location.

This location is close to the river and near the Amola waterfall. It provides easy access to the trail leading to the Cornisello lakes. There are plenty of parking spaces, but the road is too narrow for motorhomes.

The parking area is large and quiet for resting. However, the road to reach it is in poor condition and under construction. There is a narrow tunnel built with bricks that allows only one vehicle at a time, but you can see from a distance if another vehicle is approaching.
