The best access to the dam's water is at the bathing area. Overnight stays are not allowed there. I do not recommend using the other access points to the dam for camping, as they are on a rough and narrow dirt road. In August 2021, there were noticeable signs of white foam pollution in the water.

This location is calm and beautiful, great for fishing. We experienced some issues with mosquitoes, but nothing serious. I recommend it for a pleasant evening.
