The journey to the destination is rough but rewarding. It is located at a high altitude of about 1870 meters, and nighttime temperatures can drop to 1°C. There are also cows to see and a beautiful view to enjoy.
The take-off site is situated at a lower level and can only be accessed from September 1st to December 31st, as the runway is closed outside of this time frame. To reach the site, you must take the access track through the pastoral refuge of Sainte Leocadie. It is relatively easy to access using a van, but it may be more challenging for vehicles with a long wheelbase. Nevertheless, once there, you will be rewarded with a stunning view.
