This location offers a pleasant and peaceful environment, especially when there are no ships passing by. It provides a scenic view of the river Waal and access to a nearby lock. The marina and the center of Tiel are also conveniently located nearby. However, it is important to note that there is a steep slope and a nearby building belonging to Rijkswaterstaat.
The road leading to this location is very narrow. It's a nice spot by the water, but the steep path down was intimidating, so I didn't go there. I saw two fishermen nearby. We only stopped briefly and didn't stay overnight, and the ground was uneven.
