The car park at Schloss Laufen is located above the waterfall. For a fee of 5 Swiss Francs, you can enter directly into the impressive sight of the roaring water. It is particularly worth visiting at night. A new parking system will be implemented from June 22, 2022. During this time, parking will be free between 6 p.m. and 9 a.m.
This is a friendly place, located only a 300-meter walk from the Rhine Falls. If you're willing to walk a bit (20-30 minutes), you can cross the river along the railway track. We stayed here for one night, but please note that the parking area has a steep slope.
