The Salamander campsite offers picturesque pitches for motorhomes that are equipped with water, electricity, and wifi. Despite current circumstances, they continue to serve delicious and substantial meals, including soup, main course, salad, and dessert. Additionally, guests can enjoy freshly baked bread, croissants, or pain au chocolat for breakfast. During the summer, the swimming pool is available for use. The campsite director is fluent in French.

The check-in process in the early evening was very simple. They warmly welcome dogs. However, the facilities are a bit outdated, as if time has stood still. The location right by the national park is great for hiking. Unfortunately, there was only one combined bathroom with a shower and toilet open, which was a bit stressful with other campers knocking on the door while showering. We were there in March, so it was the off-season.
