Located at the junction in front of the elevator's lower harbor, there is no available facility for disposing of waste. The driveway leading to the area is not paved and can only accommodate a maximum of 1-2 small vehicles. Furthermore, there is a beautiful lake called Inselsee nearby which has a beach and a snack bar for visitors to enjoy.

Sometimes a car passes by, but it doesn't bother anyone. However, I wouldn't recommend staying there for more than one night. It's currently noisy during the day due to the construction at the ship lift. However, the surrounding nature and canal make up for it.
