There is a green space by a small road near Marvão historic village, in front of an old barn. It offers plenty of shade and tranquility. Please note that it is located in a natural park (Parque Natural da Serra de São Mamede), where it is not allowed to stay overnight outside of authorized areas.

We had a quiet night. There were few cars passing by. We had a view of the Castelo and the valley. There is a fountain about 5 minutes away by car towards Portalegre.
