There are three laybys located on Longstone Moor, suitable for smaller vans and possibly larger ones as well. These areas are peaceful during nighttime, with no traffic, and offer wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. They are also conveniently located near Monsal Head and Gt Longstone.
The location offers beautiful scenery and a peaceful atmosphere at night. There are a few other vehicles nearby, but there is plenty of space to avoid overcrowding. The roads are narrow, but manageable for larger vehicles. The only drawback is the slight slope, which can make leveling out a bit challenging. Despite this, it is still a place worth returning to.
