There is a spacious car park at the Rodgauer forest leisure facility. It is a calm and shaded area, although occasionally there might be nighttime events. The facility offers storage options, but they are empty. Please note that barbecues and open fires are not allowed. The lake is approximately 2 km away.
We stayed here for a night in a peaceful forest location. We arrived late as usual and had the place to ourselves on a Saturday. The morning brought hikers from 8:00 am onwards. It's highly recommended for those in the Frankfurt area, but please remember to dispose of your trash in the designated bins. We had to do it for others, unfortunately.
This is a peaceful and welcoming location that offers plenty of space to explore and enjoy nature. There is a spacious outdoor area with opportunities for walking and playing, including a nearby forest. Plus, there is convenient parking available nearby.
