In January, the dirt roads can be very muddy, making them susceptible to getting stuck. It is not recommended for overnight stays, but they can be suitable for a picnic break.

This peaceful and tranquil location is perfect for a short stay. While there are no amenities available, it offers a respite from busy traffic. It is relatively clean, especially when compared to the standards of southern Italy. During our visit in late March, we encountered only a handful of friendly local people. The buildings visible in the picture, which are approximately 400 meters away, appear to be vacant.

Great place to stop for a night or two, surrounded by nature with free-roaming animals. It may be a bit dirty and lacking amenities, but the scenery is absolutely stunning.
