Our private retreat offers peaceful surroundings with amenities such as a restaurant, picnic area, and even a playground for children. An information booth provides various routes, including a scenic path along the river, ideal for collecting chestnuts and mushrooms. Restrooms are available and well-maintained, although please note that the water is not drinkable.
We visited in January and found everything closed, including the bathrooms and the information booth. When we attempted to take our dog for a walk on a nearby path, we were informed by the neighbors that it was private property. There isn't much else to see or do in the vicinity.
Last week, during our visit, we were notified by a gentleman operating a tractor that parking may not be allowed in the area. In the morning, the staff member responsible for opening the bathrooms also asked us to leave. However, she kindly let us have breakfast and provided access to the bathrooms if needed.
