La Cité d'Alet campsite offers a beautiful view of Saint Malo. However, it's important to note that the pitches are uneven, requiring wedges of up to 20cm for leveling. Automatic lifting support systems may not work due to the uneven ground. There is no height limit at the campsite itself, but a 4m limit applies when entering from the eastern suburbs of St. Malo.
The site is pleasant and located within a 15-minute walk to the city center. It offers a quiet environment. However, the basic package of €22 for a camper van spot for 2 people with electricity is quite expensive considering the limited services provided. It may be fine for a one-night stay, but not for longer.
This small family-friendly campsite is highly recommended. Although the sanitary facilities may not be brand new, they are well-maintained. The campsite offers a fantastic view and the town center is easily accessible on foot or by bike.
