There is a ferry available at a location near the Vistula River that can assist in crossing to the opposite side. It operates during the appropriate season. It is worth considering trying it out!
We spent one night at a lovely place with a great view of the Benedictine abbey. It was peaceful and not crowded, with other campers also staying there. We found a bike path that leads to the Cracow castle, which was convenient. Best of all, it was free.
This location offers a pleasant view and is a popular spot, especially for anglers on weekends. However, it can get quite crowded during that time. It's important to note that the opposite side of the river tends to be noisy and very crowded on weekends.
