The parking spaces are relatively small and have odd angles, making it difficult to level them even with regular blocks. However, the access to the lake is not ideal for swimming. There are much nicer spots available at Lake Asnen.

The location has a rustic and authentic feel and is popular among visitors. However, the sink only has cold water and the showers are quite far away and not well-maintained. It costs 5 kroner for a 4-minute shower. Fishing without a boat is difficult, and there is no gray water disposal or fresh water refill station. Most pitches do not offer a view of the lake. The grassy areas are uneven, and there is a small swimming area. Be prepared for mosquitoes.
